Environmental portrait assignment for The New York TimesTheUpShot” feature story about the Canadian artist Sara Genn.

Completed an enviromental portrait assignment for The NEW YORK TIMES about artist Sara Genn in Cresent Beach, South Surrey, BC, Canada.

It was a great pleasure photographing Sara Genn on a photography assignment for The New York Times cover story “The Jobs You’re Most Likely to Inherit From Your Mother and Father about Sara Genn who, like her father, is also a painter.

Sara Genn, a painter and singer, is the daughter of Robert Genn, a Canadian landscape painter. “He had a studio next to our house, so it was something that we always grew up with,” she said. “His philosophy was just make it part of everyday life and make materials readily available.” (The New York Times).
